About the Director 

Mary Gillen Blythe (Director, Writer, Producer) is a New York-bred, Los Angeles-based writer-director whose narrative films have screened at festivals and museums internationally from the Hamptons International Film Festival to the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. As a commercial director she has created content for beauty clients such as Nest Fine Fragrances and Bond No. 9 Parfum, and her professional background includes work for HBO, Sundance Channel and Leverage Management. Mary is a graduate of Columbia University's MFA film program and a member of Film Independent, IFP, Women in Film and Film Fatales. She is also a former yoga teacher who enjoys poking fun at the things she loves for the sake of entertainment.
